The main difference between these two categories is sulfites. Other wines that are organically grown are certified as “Biodynamic” by Demeter, the only certifier for Biodynamic farms and products in the U.S.

And then there are many other winemakers in the industry who farm all or part of their vineyards organically (or that use organic and bio-dynamic farming practices) that do not have certified seals. These wines are labeled organic and are also great for anyone who is pursuing a healthy lifestyle in order to avoid chemicals and additives.
