On Saturday, February 15^th, 2014, we will welcome David Phillips, co-owner and president of Michael David Winery as he showcases his exquisite collection of wines. From 1:00PM-5:00PM, guests will explore the family’s fine selection of varietals and have the opportunity to purchase a bottle of Michael David to have signed by the co-owner himself, David Phillips.

The experts at the Wine ConneXtion will be pouring a selection of Michael David Winery’s wines including its flagship zinfandel 7 Deadly Zins, a sinful blend of Lodi’s finest fruit no one can refuse, show stopping Freakshow Cab, called one of the “best wine labels in the business” by Robert Parker, and their small lot varietals such as Rapture, Inkblot and their Zin Series, Lust, Gluttony, Sloth and Rage

From a little farm in the town of Lodi, California came a family passionate about their grapes. Starting off with only 160 acres the Phillips family quickly became successful while shipping wine across America during the Prohibition. Today the winery’s rebel reputation continues, now known for its outlandish brands and packaging and quirky personalities, but above all its delicious and high-quality wines.

This tasting is free to the public and, as always, walk-ins are welcome all day. To enjoy the full Wine ConneXtion experience, guests are encouraged to peruse the store’s unique selection of wines fit for even the most discriminating palates.
