Wine ConneXtion Welcomes Farrah Felten-Jolley

As part of our ten year anniversary celebration, Wine ConneXtion is excited to welcome Klinker Brick Winery with special guest Farrah Felten-Jolley for an in-store tasting event on October 19, 2019. The wine tasting will be held from 1-5pm on Saturday, and is a complimentary event open to the public.

Farrah Felten-Jolley, Saturday’s special guest, is the daughter of the wine makers, Steve and Lori Felten. Farrah is the sixth generation of her family to grow grapes in Lodi, California. Her parents are the first generation to produce wine, putting out their first vintage, Old Vine Zinfandel, back in 2000. Nine years later, Farrah joined the family business, helping to sell her family’s wine across the United States and internationally. Farrah not only brought a business administration degree from the University of the Pacific to Klinker Brick Winery. She also brought a talent for sales, a grape-growing heritage and, of course, a love of wine. As a result, six years into her sales post at Klinker Brick, she was promoted to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing. She continues to hold this position, running all sales and marketing for the winery today.

Klinker Brick’s Farrah Syrah

In addition to her great success in growing the family business, Farrah is well-known for something else. She is the namesake of one of the winery’s most popular vintages. Klinker Brick’s Farrah Syrah is a top-rated, award winning wine. The winery describes the tasting notes as:

The 2015 Syrah exhibits aromas of currant, baking spice, cacao and smoky oak with subtle earthy and floral notes. The palate is greeted with bright and vibrant flavors of blackberry, anise and exotic spices. Supple tannins and superb balance lend structure to this full-bodied Syrah with a long, lingering finish. “Old world meets new!”

You’ll have the opportunity to chat with Farrah about the wine, try samples of Klinker Brick’s top rated vintages, and have Farrah sign bottles.
