During the 1990’s, Merlot was the reigning red. The varietal became the go-to for most novice to intermediate wine drinkers because of its texture, accessibility and name-recognition. Ordering a glass of Merlot was the counterpart of ordering a glass of Chardonnay. Or it was, until wine drinkers began to expand their palate, ordering Pinot Noirs, Cabernets and branching out into lesser known wine-growing regions.

While Merlot had been overlooked for the past decade, there’s an all new Merlot on the market! On Saturday, We are reintroducing wine buyers to the latest and greatest Merlots at this complimentary tasting. Not to be confused with your parent’s Merlot, the expert staff will be pouring some of the best bottles to hit the market in recent years.
